Default Nice chain email for once....

So, I got this chain email from *cough* someone whom I shall not name. In it, the email promises that good luck will happen to those who share it and bad luck shall befall those that don't.

Of course, I deplore chain emails, and couldn't care less what kind of voodoo people threaten me with. However, the lessons it's sharing seems rather positive and worthwhile. So, I've decided to share it with you guys!

Quote:
ONE. Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.

TWO. Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, their conversational skills will be as important as any other.

THREE. Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want.

FOUR. When you say, "I love you," mean it.

FIVE. When you say, "I'm sorry," look the person in the eye.

SIX. Be engaged at least six months before you get married.

SEVEN. Believe in love at first sight.

EIGHT. Never laugh at anyone's dream. People who don't have dreams don't have much.

NINE. Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's the only way to live life completely.

TEN. In disagreements, fight fairly. No name calling.

ELEVEN. Don't judge people by their relatives.

TWELVE. Talk slowly but think quickly.

THIRTEEN. When someone asks you a question you don't want to answer, smile and ask, "Why do you want to know?"

FOURTEEN. Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk..

FIFTEEN. Say "bless you" when you hear someone sneeze.

SIXTEEN. When you lose, do n't lose the lesson

SEVENTEEN. Remember the three R's: Respect for self; Respect for others; and responsibility for all your actions.

EIGHTEEN. Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship.

NINETEEN. When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.

TWENTY. Smile when picking up the phone. The caller will hear it in your voice.

TWENTY-ONE. Spend some time alone.
Oh, and in case anyone IS superstitious, don't worry. Nothing will happen to you. Only me, because I was the one who broke the chain. DUM DUM DUM!

Yes good points in there.

Also, I despise the chain emails since they are used to harvest email addys for those who do not know this. Every email address that can be followed back several levels can be harvested. If you ever see the emails that are fw: fw: fw: fw: fw: fw: fw: fw: fw: fw: fw: fw: you can almost bet someone will get your email address eventually. By selecting "reply to all" I can email every single person listed in every fw:

Similar is this:
People are unreasonable, illogical and self-centered.
Love them anyway.

When you do good, they will accuse you of egoism and ulterior motives.
Do good anyway.

If you are successful, you will acquire false friends and real enemies.
Be successful anyway.

The good that you do will be forgotten tomorrow.
Do good anyway.

Sincerity and openness make you vulnerable.
Be sincere and open anyway.

What you build with years of work can be destroyed in a single day.
Build it anyway.

Your help is really needed, but people may attack you if you help them.
Help them anyway.

Give the world your best, and it will kick you in the teeth.
Give the world your best anyway.
