Default Bargain shopping on-line

I would like some feedback from you kind folks. I have a website which touts the cheapest service for just about anything telecom, Internet, and most recently financing services related. My question to you: what features do you find most valuable in a website when looking for bargains online? What websites do you go to first when bargain hunting online? What kind of site would you consider trustworthy as opposed to one just trying to get your money regardless of what service or product you buy.

Any and all feedback is very much appreciated. Thanx!

I use several sites when looking for bargains. I usually shop them like ads in a newspaper vs having a specific item in mind and then finding all deals on it.

Remember no site can offer you the cheapest price on anything on a daily basis. For instance, webhosting deals is one I noticed lately. What site can track all hosting companies? None. Usually they have a few that they promote and make money from if you actually use their link to sign up.

Nexttag and similar price comparison sites do a decent job of showing retail price comparisons, but do not list current rebates from the manufacturer or store. So, in my opinion they are of little use to me.

Thank you for the feedback greedy4chips I agree with you it would be hard to keep tabs on every single hosting company as you mentioned; However, someone or a group of people who deal with any certain feild can pretty much narrow things down to the best overall price and value. At the same time, I think most people would lean toward your way of thinking "nobody can possibly know the cheapest price at all times". There are also other variables in locating the "cheapest service", such as ones usage, habits, and personal needs. The problem here is people don't read the information. I find that as you mentioned, many people shop as if they were looking through a Sunday flyer and often times miss the important highlights and information, such as tips, and advice on how to get the most value from any one service for your money.
