I keep seeing DD, DH, DS, DIL, and so forth.

What in the world does it stand for?

Any other ones I should know for this forum?

The only thing I know, is dd, is darling daughter, dh is darling husband, ds, is darling son, dil is daugher in law, same for son in law, mother in law, father in law. ( am new too and had to ask) so is significate other for those not married.
