Re: Emigrant Direct $10 or $20 Sign-Up Bonus
I just signed up for ING a week or so ago. How would I know whether I have invites or not? I've just been to the site and don't see anything (but I have a headache-it doesn't mean it's not there....) Thanks!

Re: Emigrant Direct $10 or $20 Sign-Up Bonus
You have invites - if you sign in and look at the bottom of the page toward the right (just to the left of the ever increasing number) there should be an "invite friend" or something like that button - that will take you to your invites and you should have 25 of them.

Re: Emigrant Direct $10 or $20 Sign-Up Bonus
Jeffrey-thanks, that was a "d'oh" moment. Another example of me being fine with frugality material but freezing up with the investment area. I will follow the detailed instructions above. It may be more complicated than the ING bonus, but doing the easy thing has been getting me just over 1% on my money, so it's about time I do the harder thing. Thanks again for your patience. If I have 25 invites, I know I'd never use more than 5 so I may try to figure out a way to give you a lot more than 2 invites.

Jeffery,
I got my emigrant account set up and used the link you had here. What do I have to do next? I know I need to give you 2 invites, can do but am not sure how although I know where to find them. Please let me know what you need from me.

Re: Emigrant Direct $10 or $20 Sign-Up Bonus
I finished this process, and I was very pleasantly surprised that my 2 ING invites were used within one day. Fine print: your actual results may vary.

nanamom,
Sorry about the delay...missed this post earlier. Sign into your ING account and at the bottom toward the right there will be a link to invite friends to join ING. Click that and it will take you to an area where you can send invites to friends. Please send 2 to me and I will take care of it from there. Email the invites to info@savingadvice.com and please let me nkow if you have any further questions.
Jeffrey

***your actual results may vary*** A lot depends on how many people we have in line to convert the ING invites, so there can be a delay, but we try to get them converted as quickly as possible.

Re: Emigrant Direct $10 or $20 Sign-Up Bonus
Is this still a good offer? I'd like to sign up for an Emigrant account and a bonus sounds like a good deal.
I also still have all 10 of my ING referrals...
TIA

Re: Emigrant Direct $10 or $20 Sign-Up Bonus
Just curoius, do the invites from Ing D. ever expire? I have not looked at them very closely. I just signed up for Ing Direct and ED. Sadly, I missed this thread before I signed up. Looks like I will have to use my invites the hard way.
Thanks

Re: Emigrant Direct $10 or $20 Sign-Up Bonus
The ING invites expire 30 days after they are sent, I believe, but if they are not used, they go back into your account and can be sent again. They do not expire in your account, but I assume that one of these days they will discontinue the campaign.

Hey Guys,
Thanks for the $20.00 that hit my ING account a few days ago.

Re: Emigrant Direct $10 or $20 Sign-Up Bonus
I finally got around to signing up with Emigrant tonight. I used the special link and sent over my first name and email address, but I've still got a couple of dumb questions.
1) Is the "date you activated your online account" supposed to be the day I started the account (today) or the day I confirmed the account (in a few days)?
2) Can I go ahead and send my ING referrals now or do they need to be somehow connected to my Emigrant bonus? Do I just send them to info@savingadvice.com?
Thanks!!

Re: Emigrant Direct $10 or $20 Sign-Up Bonus
Out of curiosity, how does this 'conversion' of ING invites work? I understand that I can get $20 for them, but what, exactly, are you guys doing with them? What are they being converted to...besides possibly cash for me?
