Default Financial Aid Rant

The Cost Of College Dropouts: A State-By-State Breakdown

Look at all that money wasted!

I really think they should make it more difficult for students to receive financial aid support. In order to be qualify or eligible, they should increase the minimum GPA requirement from 2.0 up to 2.5 for undergrad, and require a certain amount of volunteer hours/semester in order to maintain it.

No offense, but I truly believe some students are just not worth nor qualified to receive grant money or loans.

I agree. I mostly paid my way in college, but I had about a 3.8 when I came out of high school. I think the minimum to get financial aid should be no LOWER than 3.0 cumulative. Sometimes, the people that work the hardest in HS did not end up getting the most financial aid.

personally wish the whole system and its inequities could be revised.
