Default Paid Off Our Last Credit Card

I just paid off our last credit card tonight! The only debt left is my wife's car, which should be done in July or August - almost two years early.

We would have been debt free awhile ago, but I have been paying for my college (Bachelor degree) with cash. I am scheduled to graduate in June, so I won't have to worry about tution after that!

Praise God that he gave me the resources to do so!

That's great. Congrats. And I second what Joshua said. Never carry a balance again. If you don't ALREADY have the money in your account to pay for the purchase, don't buy it. Credit cards should only be used as a convenience and to earn the rewards. They should not be used to go into debt for things you can't really afford to be buying.

Good on you! I wonder how many of your fellow graduates will go to their convocation in such great shape to tackle the next step in life.

It's so nice to hear that someone is paying for school with cash. It can be done..
