I've been playing around with Yodlee software mostly so I can do bugets on my checking account. I have it all set up and it works great most of the time. However I'm finding out that about 5% of the time it is missing ceratain transactions. I sent customer service request but no luck so far. I also just signed up for Mint but it hasn't downloaded any previous transactions so I think I have to wait over a month of getting all the new tranactions as they happen to do a monthly expense report.
Is there a reliable Personal Finance software(that's free) so I don't have to baby sit it all the time and check for missed transactions, etc. If it's not reliable it's pretty much useless. |

I have been using excel for the past 15+ years with no issues...

It's not free, but we have been using Microsoft money for years and are pretty happy with it. I know Dave Ramsey has some software too that I actually just got for "free" by ordering other things off of his website and using a coupon code. I also know people who use Quicken - again not free. So, my reply is actually probably not helpful to you at all.
But like the pp said - if you are good with excel you can really customize it to make it exactly what you want. |

I've been reasonably happy with Mint, but I still like the old Windows 3.1 Quicken! I used Quickenonline for a while and it was pretty bad, so it is easy to see why it went belly up.
