Your friend probably enjoys complaining more about not having the bed than solving his/her problem.

I would say the posts with folks who feel they are victims and people not taking personal responsibility are right on!
This is a BIG difference between knowing something... and getting results. Due to the fact that she isn't famous yet, I'd say results are something she's not used to having. But what is she getting for her complaints? She's getting a lot of attention from her friends. She's getting a lot of sympathy from some, and a lot of "shame shame" from others. She may have no idea that she spurned on a whole thread in this forum... but if she knew.. she'd be smiling inside

Funny you should say that. Just the other night he was complaining how overwhelmed he is financially. He was going on and on about how much this hot tub is going to cost him. He paid $250 for it, but now it needs a new pump and motor. That's several hundred more. Also, he needs to pour a concrete pad to set it on. That's a few more hundred. And, he needs to upgrade his electric service to wire it up. That's a few hundred more. He was going on about all this like it was an absolute necessity that he have this hot tub. He's looking at over $1000 in expenses by the time this is all said and done. I suggested he cut his losses and sell the thing before it buries him. He stated that he works hard, so he should get to play hard. You only live once he said. You have to have some fun in life he said. Yeah, sitting around buried in debt stressed out to the max about something that you completely did to yourself sounds like a great time. It's true what they say; People that live simply and efficiently are the ones that are the happiest.
