Default Re: MBNA raises rate, no reason

Okay, I finally got in touch with a "real" person. Thanks for the info, I just held the line and let all the "press 4 if you'd like, this and press 5 if you'd like this."

After a whole bunch of these, I heard a long period of silence and then finally, "If you'd like to speak with a service representative...!" FINALLY!

Anyway, they told me that my 4.7% was only an Introductory rate, which I really doubt because I remember reading the info on those checks very closely and then only using them when I thought they were until "Paid In Full."

They have graciously (NOT) allowed me to lower my rate to 13.8% -- their "premier" rate. OH - GIVE ME A BREAK!

WOW! 13.8% How wonderful!!! (read sarcasm, here.)

I will very quickly be moving this debt to much lower interest rates and they won't get one dime more from me.

I hate being in debt. How I wish I could find a way to get out of this mess.

Thanks for letting me vent.

SIGH.
Jean
