Kewells & Kealina - if you can start thinking about compound interest when you are in the midst of a shopping 'frugal challenge' situation and what that money will cost you long term it can definitely be a braking mechanism. I know it is working for me.
Sometime during the last month on my blog I posted a little compound interest chart that I copied from ?somewhere? and I printed it out and carry it in my wallet next to the cash, have one posted on my mirror and one in my makeup case to help remind me that I'm often times spending my future.
