We burn our trash-I recycle what I can, either here at home or by taking it in. Then we burn whats left. We ran out of trash bags a week ago. But, I have been using grocery sacks, boxes as I unpack (yes, I am still unpacking 1-2 boxes a day from my move in June), dog food and feed bags... I haven't really missed not having the bags now-or having to pay for them!
