I hear you, Mom. Chips are truly a bum deal when it comes to 1) economy, 2) bang for the buck, and 3) good artery health. When I was working, I was a craven vending-machine addict, and that was 23 years ago. Vending machine snacks tend to be tiny, unsatisfying, and about as good for us as doing deep-breathing exercises in the heart of Los Angeles on the smoggiest day of the year.
