I like to try this for at least a couple of months. Can we set this up as a challenge. I'd very much like to. My inclination is to say that except for a very few things I don't buy anything new anyway. However I might surprise myself. Off hand the only things I buy new are sheets and underwear. I do not however agree that used pillowcases are disgusting.

I'd also like to know how they define used. Is it anything purchased from goodwill or the salvation army or garage sales. Or is it something that has to be actually physically used by someone else.

How many of us are interested in trying this?
