Except for the fact that he is a minor and the poster is apparently legally responsible for him; grandma's co-signing or not. Based on the history given, there is no way this guy should have a 2-year contract and phone. Sounds to me like he is a bit of brat who feels entitled. If he wants a phone, let him buy a pre-paid phone for himself. There is no reason to obligate anyone for 2-years, especially when a 16 year old has already been through, what, 3 phones?
