Long T.H.I.C.K. hair - wash it at night before bed. I sleep w/a Vornado fan and it's soon dry.

When we had floor heater vents as a kid I used to do the laying w/my head on it to dry my hair thing.

Also this trick is for you guys and girls in a huge hurry - must leave house in 10 minutes but also ABSOLUTELY have to wash hair. Go outside and put your wet head over the ac/furnace fan. Wave to the neighbors. Dry in a jiffy.

No time to shampoo & even do the above drying trick? If you have light colored hair then give the oily portions of your head a dash w/some baby powder and then brush it out. Watch out for the white streak down your part (give a lick w/a wet wash rag). May be a little staticy, so rub your damp hands over it a few times when you're thru.
Good to get you to the grocery and back w/o embarassing yourself cuz' sure-as-shooting if you go w/it dirty you'll run into an old flame!
