I am really going to try to keep it around $200 this year for my kids. They are both video game nuts, and the cost of those things is criminal! Last year, I estimate I spent around $450, because I kind of went overboard and got my dd one of those portable dvd players and a digital camera too !
( I know, I know.... what was I thinking!) We don't have a big family, so there are not a lot of people to buy for, just the kids and a few friend's kids. I usually get gift cards for them.
