I recently found out about a great Yahoo group that you can join at
www.freecycle.org. You select your location and you can join the group close to where you live. I get several e-mails a day from people giving things away that are cluttering their homes but could do someone else some good. People also request things that they need that someone else might be looking to get rid of. It seems like there are a lot of people giving away baby items, furniture and clothes as well as several other odds and ends. It seems like the way to go if you really want to save money!
