I think you are doing well! You could cut out cafeteria eats, entirely, of course. And bake your own bread -- a lot cheaper than buying good bread.
And your child care sounds very cheap to me -- where I live, childcare costs $1,000 - $1,400 a month.
Readers here need to remember that cost of living varies widely. Buying a house in many East Coast cities or California cities these days would result in a mortgage way more than $250,000.
