Ouch! I hope things work out for your parents and they didn't lose a lot of priceless treasures (pictures, letters, etc).
Just a general question as far as reciepts for insurance companies -- I had thought about taking pictures of everything and putting it onto CD to store with friends/family as a record -- Will scanned in copies of reciepts generally work for insurance companies?
