Default Re: Using up the baby's cereal

I've been reading up on it a little and oat flour can apparently be used in combination with other flour as a substitution. For example, if you are making pancakes and it calls for 1 1/2 cups flour then you can put in 1 cup flour and 1/2 cup oat flour. I found pie crust and other recipes using oat flour as well. I'm just wondering if I can use the baby food as oat flour or not. It has other ingredients in it (all long and man made) so I wasn't sure. I get it on WIC now too. But only for a little longer. Before we had the WIC, DH bought a bunch on a good sale. Now DD won't eat the stuff. But she loves bread, so I thought I could use it up by putting some of it in the recipes.
