I find the greatest way to cut credit card fees is to have as small a number of cards as possible. I only have 2 credit cards so only need worry about two sets of fees. One with a low limit that I use on the internet and a second card that is used when travelling.
I'm lazy and don't want to have the hastle of making sure I pay before a certain date. By having a simple plan I don't end up paying others the money I need.
