Good point, Jan. Having the money available may be the difference between an average facility and one that is really outstanding.
I hope none of us ever have to deal with making these decisions for our loved ones. I know too someday I may have to make a tough choice if I can't care for them at home, but I also know that I will keep them here at home as long as possible...and cross my fingers that this issue is at least another 30 years away! (that would put my dad at over 100...wouldn't that be great?!)
