I too have fallen head over heels in love with Walgreens. One just opened near my work. So far, I have hit the Kotex rebate twice, each time being paid several dollars after rebate
Another favorite is the Royal gelatin 5/$1 sale. Whoa! I make sure to scan their ad every week now.
I agree with the couponing - it is hard for me to consistently beat Aldi prices. It is even harder for me to beat the prices at a local store that sells items that are damaged or near the expiration date. But then again, I will find a few good deals here and there, like Malt O Meal cereal for $1 with a doubled $.50 coupon - it's these deals that keep me looking each week
I enjoy the search, so at least I am having fun playing the game, even if I'm not winning every week!
