Default Saving Tips Related To Work

Work/Job Saving Tips...

  1. Ask your employer about a flexible spending account. This will let you set aside money before taxes are taken out and is best utilized with known yearly medical costs such as check-ups. The cash can be used to pay doctor bills that insurance doesn't cover. Accounts to cover child-care costs are also generally available.

  2. Consider buying your professional clothing at an up-scale resale shop. You will find top quality brand clothes that have only been worn a few times (if ever) at a fraction of the price the clothes would cost new.

  3. Give office paper new life before throwing it away or recycling. If printing is only on one side, cut the paper into 1/4 size sheets, punch a hole through them and tie them together with a string to make yourself a memo pad.

  4. If you're divorced, but were married for 10 or more years and have not remarried, you're entitled to half your ex-spouse's Social Security benefits. The exception is if your own work record gives you a larger benefit.
