Saving Tips Related To Work
Work/Job Saving Tips...
- Ask your employer about a flexible spending account. This will let you set aside money before taxes are taken out and is best utilized with known yearly medical costs such as check-ups. The cash can be used to pay doctor bills that insurance doesn't cover. Accounts to cover child-care costs are also generally available.
- Consider buying your professional clothing at an up-scale resale shop. You will find top quality brand clothes that have only been worn a few times (if ever) at a fraction of the price the clothes would cost new.
- Give office paper new life before throwing it away or recycling. If printing is only on one side, cut the paper into 1/4 size sheets, punch a hole through them and tie them together with a string to make yourself a memo pad.
- If you're divorced, but were married for 10 or more years and have not remarried, you're entitled to half your ex-spouse's Social Security benefits. The exception is if your own work record gives you a larger benefit.
