Some Great tips in here Jeffrey!

My kids are small enough they don't understand what $ is but they get some money for b-days ect I put it into their piggy banks til the next trip to the credit Union and then we buy savings bonds or put the $ into their savings depending on how much it is of course.

I plan on keeping the accounts for things they will need as they grow up & for a house or their college edcuation. Not to be spent foolishly on toys ect.

I often tell my oldest when she begs for the latest trinket in the gum ball machine that mommy wants to save that quarter so she can go to college rather than something that'll make her happy for a few minutes.
