[Frugal Father (tm)]

Hi everyone the Frugal Father here. I am curious how you guys became frugal or simplified your lives. I have explored this in some articles but never really have posted this question. I became furgal after I was laid off from my wonderfully secure wall street postion back in 1989..tried other employment options but was cast assunder, in addition my asthma/respitory condition had declined badly so I entered into the world of frugality. My first exposure was the frugal gourmet ( use what you have cooking) then the tightwad gazzette and my love of conlonial history led me to Ben Franklin of course...how about you guys?
