Bookie, just how big WAS that chicken?
Tonight DH and I pickled jalapeno peppers and he prepared the peppers for me to make pepper jelly tomorrow (I can't handle the peppers so I make him do it!). I made granola from scratch - so good! I swept through the garden to see what remained and came back with several beets (had for dinner tonight), swiss chard (dinner tomorrow), a few cherry tomatoes, peppers, and two yellow squash. Still have a ton of chard and beets left - not to mention the eternal jalapenos (already gave away 7 dozen on Freecycle).
Had leftover soup for lunch. Used up several cartons of yogurt in the fridge that were slightly past expiration.
