they are more of a pain to clean IMO, and more of a financial comitment. Plus you have to buy the 'right' head, you can't just accept any head....so an ad for a free brush or great sale is wasted...but then most research I have read says if you do not tend to brush well, you will have better results with electric.

plus you need more counter space for them.. and when new tech comes out you are asked to replace the whole thing, noit just the brush part, whereas 'new tech' (how much can a brush change anyway?) for a standard brush can be tried rather cheap.

short answer, we had em, we prefered regular, we ditched the electric.
