You might want to try the stuff they make for septic systems. Here we can get it at the grocery store. I also heard about a woman who used baking yeast. A septic man told a friend of mine to put a cup of yeast down the toilet to prolong the time between emptying it. You could also get those little strainers that will prevent hair from going down the drain. If the slow drain is in the kitchen sink, make sure u don't pour your grease down.

One time I had a problem in our bath tub & bathroom sink. It even got so bad that they clogged. I tried draino & such, but it only helped a little. I finally got out the toilet plunger & plunged the heck out of them. I got out gobs of gunk & hair. Was much cheaper & more effective than draino.
