Try this site http://www.bloodbanker.com/plasma/ to see if there is a location in your city. In Wisconsin, plasma centers are in cities with a College. This provides the center with enough people to make it economically viable.

This site has some info on it, but it is a little over the top in the scare factor. http://www.associatedcontent.com/art...for_money.html

You cannot have had a piercing or tattoo in the last year. No surgery in the last 6 months. No sex with a male (if you are a male) or anyone who has ever had sex with a male even 1 time. This is because of possible HIV transmission. Any changes in prescription medication will make you ineligible to donate for 1 full month after your dosage change, to allow your body time to adjust to the new levels.

Drink lots of fluids, it helps speed up the donation process as it keeps your blood thin. Many college girls have blood like molasses! Eat a meal about 1 hr prior to your donation, to keep you from a reaction. Basically your body is looking for food to replenish the plasma as you donate. An empty stomach is not a good thing. The reaction is handled very easily by ending your donation and supplying you with liquids and they watch you for 15 or so minutes to ensure you are ok. Once again, college girls are the most likely to have a reaction according to the staff at my center.
