Default Re: What frugal thing did you do today?

Frugalelf- You make us all jealous with your dump store finds. I have been looking for even a salvage store in this area without any luck. I guess places like Biglots and Deals takes all the salvage stuff these days. The best i have done lately is a clothes bag for travel at the local "Goodwill" for $7. I must have lent mine to someone because I could not find it any where. My husband said, "Don't worry, I go buy one". This is a man would would spend $100 at a blink of an eye. I said, "I'll keep looking". I went to the Goodwill bought the cheapo, used one and told him I "found" one in the back of the closet. It worked just fine. We NEVER travel with hanging clothes but we were flying to Texas for a promotion ceremony and I was not taking any chances that our clothes would go awry. Other than that I have only found good discounted meat buys at Sams. I am off to buy apples, too. We go through a lot of applesauce. lynclarke
