Big day! Went to the dump and found a vintage wood medicine cabinet....really solid. None of this flimsy cheap stuff. A little heavier than I'm accustomed to seeing on the market today. Found 2 sets of old wooden shutters..short ones, perfect to repaint for my garden shed. In excellent shape! A brand new package of christmas coasters, really sweet. And a pair of beautiful drapes in gorgous light blue and white stripes. Can't believe anyone threw these into the clothes bin. Not a stain or tear...like new. Also three bath towels, 2 pink and 1 blue. Can't find a thing wrong with them, like I just took them off a store shelf. Everything totaled $2.00!!

Picked enough green beans for about 8 meals, also 5 tomato's. Might do another batch of spaghetti sauce for the freezer. Used 5 banana's I froze for 2 banana breads. Sent away for a Burpee Seed gift certificate for $15.00 using my Maxwell house points...no S&H!!!

Ahhhh...I love days like these. Wish the husband figure could appreciate how hard I work to keep our household budjet way below what it would be if I wasn't such a frugalelf!

Was not happy with my daughter. She shopped for ALL the baby food for the month and di not bring the coupons. Could have saved at least $10.00. I'll do it next month. Looking for a baby food Puree thingy to do our own homemade veggies ect..!
