Hmmm...I must not be getting this. How can we say how much is spent unless we know how many coupons are redeemed?
But here's my answer anyway...(can I guess again? I was misreading the question)
Each coupon costs $.0032 to print. Then they have to pay the store $.08 when the coupon is redeemed. Therefore, the cost for redeemed coupons is $.0832 per coupon, and for unredeemed is $.0032.
But I'm not sure I can take this any further without knowing how many papers the coupon is printed in (I have only found figures for one advertiser) or how many coupons are redeemed.
