there are a few areas where we are naturally frugal...
we are both homebodies who enjoy staying home together instead of going out...
we cook a lot instead of eating out....we are also not addicted to any type of food so we basically plan our eating from the loss leaders including whatever type of produce is on sale...
don't smoke and rarely drink... (cocktail every couple weeks)
i love to read and always borrow books from the library instead of buying....
always buy dvd's for $3 or less at yard sales, enjoy them, share them with others, etc. instead of going to movies because we don't care if we see the new releases or not... if we must go to the movies we go to the $1 theater and take our own food/drinks...
instead of buying stuff, even at yard sales, we try to make do with what we have at home... for example, we both still use furniture that we got (mine from yard sales) more than 10 years ago as teenagers instead of spending even $40 on new stuff at yard sales... we mostly only buy to replace things that are breaking...
so i guess there are a few areas where we are frugal... yay...
