ONe thing DH and I do is use old maps. We have travelled a lot and have maps of about 46 of the 50 states -- a lot are very outdated and we have numerous multiples picked up at visitors centers while on the interstate. So we have started using them as gift wrap! It's really fun -- you can find a map with a funny or related town name, like Greggville for your friend Greg, or Bliss for a wedding shower gift, or one related to where they live or want to live, etc. Everyone loves it! And it gets rid of unneccessary clutter, too!
