Joan...I think that was a great present, it was probably their pride that was suffering.
What's hard is trying to understand the recievers perception on things. I always try to give gifts by the my best guess on the receivers view of things. I don't always hit it on the mark, but I come much closer.
So sometimes frugal, sometimes not.
