It does!! It means that for at least that month you don't NEED that money to live on. It provides a boost to the ol' saving noggin. It shows you that you CAN live on less than your income and helps psychologically to remind you next month - 'say I think I could do that again!' Never underestimate the power of small beginnings. Babystep your way to socking it away on a regular basis.
