Default Did anyone have to give up one or two goals in life due to financial restriction ?

I used to imagine that I would have a house, marriage and children, and was okay with money when I was a little girl.

Funny where life takes you.

For me, It is still possible for me to achieve that but not on my own. I chose to live in the big cities such as the Bay Area. Yes it’s too expensive for me but the big cities such as San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles and so on... have more opportunities for the deaf. In those areas you will find interpreting agencies, more opportunity to find jobs that is not phone or speech related, movies theatres with close captions, plays that have American Sign Language interpretation, Deaf schools which means more social events for the Deaf, Deaf Olympics and sports and I could go on and on.

I am choosing the quality of being able to participate with the general public without too much barriers and enjoy things like everyone rather than stay in Montana where I can probably afford a home within my means but have limitation with the general public with the day to day life.

Anyone had to make a sacrifice?
