cold soups
hot soups using thermos
coleslaw
whole boiled potato
weird asian store soups that go way beyong cup o' noodles
fruit salad
popcorn
steamed veggies, cold or room temperature is fine
pita with hummus, other dippy things
sliced cheese and apple
cheese and crackers
Do you have access to a microwave?
One thing I do is not always focus on a main course. If I have a few sides, that can be just fine. I have a 1/2 hr lunch and pack it every day.
