Save Money With Dead Chickens
A group of New Zealand motorists have found a way to save money on their compulsory car registration by declaring their vehicles to be non-commercial hearses.
They justified the claim by saying they carry dead chickens home from the supermarket, the Newstalk ZB radio network reported yesterday.
A Christchurch woman said she gave this explanation to the man behind the counter in the post office who approved it and gave her a registration sticker that cost NZ$200 (US$124) less than the standard charge for an ordinary car... Entire Story
