Default Re: $160 an hour to shred cheese?

Depends upon the cheese

We have Land of Lakes on sale this week, 8 oz. for $1.50, of course I have a $1 coupon, so I was shredding it up to freeze it today. Took a few minutes per block, but it's such soft cheese. Parmesan...slow.

I love the quality of Sargento, preshredded or sliced, but it's expensive. The Costco brand is around $6 for 5 pounds...but when it melts, you can see the oil puddles, poor quality. It's what I usually buy, but I'm rethinking the health issues if I can get sales/coupons. We use ALOT of cheese!
