Yep -- tried it today at DSW Warehouse. Didn't work.
The cashier was totally confused when I asked if I could get a discount because my shoes had been on display. She responded, "Uuuuhhhhh... We don't give discounts on shoes that are on display in this store."
Honestly, she looked completely flabbergasted by my question, like I had asked her to give them to me for free or something!
Oh well.
