I take the highest deductible that I can on my house insurance and my car insurances. When my car became 25 years old, I paid for an appraisal. Once I had that, my car was classified as an antique and my insurance went way down and so did the tag price. My other old car was already classified, so i get a cheap rate and tag on that one too.
