I give according to the need. Some places starting up have the money but not enough people to get the work done. I've mucked stalls and groomed horses to help an organization that uses equine therapy to help disabled children...and I've bought them a horse or two, too. I've used time to write letters to help organizations get grants, and I've given out my own grants.

Give where you see the need, and ask what is needed before you give.
