This is an area that I need to improve a lot in. I don't take care of the things I use as well as I should.

I had to go out an buy a new pair of scissors today. I'm sure that I buy 3 or four pairs a year if not more. Mostly, it's because I cut something sticky and don't bother to wipe it off and the scissors eventually don't work well anymore.

The same thing with garden tools. Every year I have to replace some of them because I didn't take good enough care of them and they rusted.

Taking a few seconds to wipe things off and keep them clean would save me quite a bit of money and I wouldn't have to constantly go to the store for new scissors.
