I agree with ebaying whatever you can (that you can part with).
Or maybe...you can find some people who work alot and offer to clean their houses/apartments (specific areas like kitchen/bath/dens only) for $40-$50/per visit (depending on your area's market). I know my sister would upfront someone $1000 if he/she would clean her place once a week for however long they agree to it. I'd put it in writing though - look at it as a loan but payments are made in labor
. 2 hours (or however long it takes you to clean) per week for 20-25 weeks is doable in my opinion.
Of course, I would bring my own cleaning supplies, but use their vacuum cleaner. You can make cleaning supplies for next to nothing!
