I never blow dry my hair either. But I do curl it sometimes (like once a month or so).

As far as donatin so much hair to get a free haircut, I would ask my Dh to cut it for me, He does haircuts for his friends and the kids.

I will try to use some olive oil on the ends, just the ends. My hair is ok, but if I wash it without conditioner, the ends get dry. I usually use conditioner on the ends only.
