OK for any christians out there, I need some advice. My husband is a borderline christian, he tolorates my beliefs, and will even occasionally tolorate a church, so long as it doesn't preach anything he doesn't agree with too often. but he doesn't believe in tithing, never has. He doesn't like what the churches do with his money, and he is hard sell on donating anyway, he would rather make money on it. Does anyone know how to talk him into tithing? I am a christian, thou I never tithed, for much the same reasons, I like to help people I know need it, not buy the church pastor a new car. but right now I am desperate, I can barely keep my head above water never mind start bailing out the boat. So I am willing to try anything ethical to get in better shape. And all christian sites recomend tithing first.
