Default Re: How to save money on cleaning supplies

I use only a few cleaners. Buy some empty spray bottles at the dollar store. I label them and use Murphy's Oil soap (love the smell) and an ammonia based cleaner such as Pine-sol for the other bottle bottle. Add a few caps and dilute. It will last a long time and go a long way. I also use bleach for cleaning and dilute it into a bucket of water when I need it. It doesn't seem to work in the spray bottle as it seems to eventually clog up the sprayer.
Those are pretty much all the cleaners I need. I use the Murphy's on the floors, wood, tables, etc. I use the Pinesol on the kitchen, bathroom, etc. And, the bleach for things that really need a good disinfection. Of course, you don't want to mix any of these.
I would like to just quit cleaning all together! But, I guess that is just a dream we all have!
