I agree! I bought some eggs at our local market and they were just a day before the best if used by date. They weren't marked down or anything. I emailed the corporate office and said I was kind of disappointed that it happened and although part of the fault was mine for not checking more closely, I thought they should watch their supplies far better. Within a few days I had received an email apologizing and they sent me a $10 gift card for my trouble. I notice that now, if eggs are close to the best if used by date are put out, they are marked way down.
